Biography
Vivekka Suppiah is an Associate at Lawson Huck Gonzalez, PLLC. Her practice focuses on civil litigation and administrative law. She also has experience briefing and arguing appellate matters, including a successful argument before the First District Court of Appeal.
Vivekka works with clients on a range of litigation matters, including legal research and analysis, drafting pleadings and briefs, handling written discovery and discovery disputes, and assisting with hearings and appellate advocacy in state courts, federal courts, and administrative forums.
Vivekka earned her Juris Doctor from Florida State University College of Law, where she served as President of the Student Bar Association and competed on the Trial Team and Moot Court Team. She received multiple advocacy awards in statewide and national moot court competitions and argued twice before the Supreme Court of Florida.
During the 2023 Legislative Session, Vivekka served as a Policy Analyst with the Education & Employment Committee of the Florida House of Representatives, where she worked with legislators and committee staff on bill analyses, amendment drafting, and legislative research. She also served as a Judicial Fellow with the Supreme Court of Florida, working with Justices and staff attorneys on jurisdictional and legal issues arising from courts across the state.
Vivekka is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and before the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Florida, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
