July 30, 2025 — The firm opens its Miami office in Coral Gables. 2023 — Founding and first-year team
February 3, 2023 — Lawson Huck Gonzalez opens. Retired Florida Supreme Court Justice Alan Lawson and prominent attorneys Paul C. Huck, Jr. and Jason Gonzalez launched the firm, joined at founding by shareholder Amber Nunnally and a seasoned team of attorneys. As reported by Florida Politics.
During its founding year the firm was joined by shareholders Samuel J. Salario, Jr. (a former judge of Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal), Raymond Cordova, and Bob Minchin, among others who helped build the practice.

Members of the firm have gone on to notable positions. Judge Ray Treadwell, who joined the firm after serving as Chief Deputy General Counsel to the Governor of Florida, was appointed to Florida’s First District Court of Appeal in May 2025. Founding shareholder Amber Nunnally returned to Shutts & Bowen as an appellate partner in 2024.
