Biography

Selene Cerankosky is an associate in Lawson Huck Gonzalez’s Tampa office.  Selene represents clients involved in civil and criminal appeals.

 

Before joining Lawson Huck Gonzalez, Selene served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Meredith L. Sasso at the Supreme Court of Florida.

 

In law school at George Mason University Antonin Scalia Law School, Selene served as Vice President of Law Students for the Second Amendment and Secretary for the Christian Legal Society.  She is published in Regent University Law Review for her Note, “Abandoned in ‘Progress’: Keeping Our Promise to Women to Keep Prisons Sex-Segregated.”  Selene also successfully sued her law school, leading to the school’s amending their policies to better protect the free speech and religious practice of students.

 

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, magna cum laude, from Robert Morris University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
