Sandra Hoyos Mejia is a seasoned litigator with more than 25 years of experience handling complex disputes in state and federal court. Her practice focuses on sophisticated family law matters, including relocation cases, paternity actions, domestic violence injunctions, sexual battery-related proceedings, and international family law disputes involving wrongful retention of minors, Hague Convention matters, and UCCJEA cases.  As a proud member of the Tim Tebow Foundation’s anti-human trafficking initiatives, Sandra Hoyos Mejía is committed to supporting efforts focused on victim protection, survivor advocacy, international collaboration, and the pursuit of accountability for those who exploit vulnerable individuals.

Leadership and Community Engagement

Sandra proudly serves as a volunteer Guardian ad Litem, advocating for the interests of children involved in family court proceedings and assisting the court in promoting their safety, stability, and well-being. In 2025, she received the Pro Bono Guardian Award from the Eleventh Judicial Circuit’s Put Something Back Program in recognition of her commitment to access to justice and the protection of vulnerable children and families.
