Biography

Matthew Casbarro is a broad-based litigator who represents both individuals and entities in state and federal courts.  Matthew focuses his practice on commercial litigation and appeals.

Before joining Lawson, Matthew worked at one of the most successful litigation boutiques in Florida, where he gained broad experience in all levels of litigation, from prelitigation strategy through trial and appeal, serving as lead counsel on numerous cases. Matthew also spent two years working at one of Florida’s leading Am Law 200 firms, where he practiced commercial litigation.

Matthew received his law degree, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, Matthew worked as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jose E. Rodriguez of the United States District Court, Southern District of Florida, and the Honorable Robin S. Rosenbaum of the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals.  Matthew also served as an Articles and Comments Editor for Volume 74 of the University of Miami Law Review, and as a Dean’s Fellow for Civil Procedure I under Professor Anthony Alfieri.

Matthew is admitted to practice in Florida.
