Biography
Nicole Vahlkamp is an associate in Lawson Huck Gonzalez’s Miami office, where she represents clients in state and federal courts. Her practice focuses on complex commercial litigation, including business disputes, contract litigation, government investigations, and antitrust matters.
Before joining the firm, Nicole was an associate at an Am Law 100 firm, where she was a member of the litigation and investigations practice groups. Prior to her legal career, she worked in corporate finance for Fortune 100 companies and as a strategy consultant for various private companies and nonprofit organizations.
Nicole received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law. During law school, she served as Symposium Editor of the Inter-American Law Review, was a HOPE Public Interest Scholar, and served as President of the Cardozo Jewish Legal Society for two years during a pivotal time for the organization. She also completed judicial internships with the Honorable Roy K. Altman of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and the Honorable Laurel M. Isicoff of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Nicole holds a Masters in Public Policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy, where she received the Irving B. Harris Scholarship. She also holds a Masters in Business Administration from Bar Ilan University in Israel. She received her Bachelors of Arts degrees in Government and Politics, summa cum laude, and Economics, magna cum laude, from the University of Maryland, College Park, where she received the prestigious Banneker Key Scholarship award.
