Jessica Marroquín represents corporate clients, investment entities, and high-net-worth individuals in complex cross-border disputes. Her practice focuses on U.S.-based litigation involving foreign parties, assets, or overlapping legal systems, as well as international commercial and investment arbitration. A Miami native, she is fluent in English and Spanish and handles proceedings in both languages.
In her litigation practice, Jessica represents clients in commercial, contractual, and fiduciary disputes before U.S. courts, often involving cross-border elements. She frequently advises foreign parties navigating the U.S. legal system in matters involving business torts, shareholder and joint venture conflicts, and other complex commercial disputes. She also handles litigation for high-net-worth individuals involving divorce, probate, trust and estate issues, and other private-client matters with international dimensions. Her work often requires multi-jurisdictional coordination, application of foreign law, and the navigation of complex service and enforcement challenges.
Jessica has extensive experience in international arbitration, having represented clients for over a decade in commercial and investor-state disputes under ICSID, ICC, UNCITRAL, and AAA/ICDR rules. Her practice encompasses high-stakes matters arising from joint ventures, shareholder agreements, infrastructure and construction projects, energy, project development, and cross-border investments. In addition to serving as counsel, she has served as both tribunal secretary and arbitrator in ICC proceedings—bringing procedural fluency and institutional insight to her advocacy.
Jessica also has experience navigating internal investigations and compliance matters, including whistleblower inquiries, anti-corruption issues, and internal policy reviews. This experience enhances her ability to assess institutional risk and guide clients through complex, sensitive disputes.
Before joining the firm, Jessica practiced at several top Am Law 100 firms and began her career as a trial attorney in the public sector. A double Cane, she earned both her undergraduate degree and J.D. from the University of Miami. She is admitted to practice in Florida, the District of Columbia, and the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
