Melanie J. Brill has been practicing commercial real estate law for over 30 years and handles all types of sophisticated real estate transactions. She represents developers, investors, lenders and users of commercial real estate in the acquisition, financing, development, leasing and sale of shopping centers, office buildings, mixed-use properties and single occupancy structures. Melanie has extensive experience in the area of retail development and shopping center law. Having negotiated and drafted purchase and sale agreements, financing documents, leases (shopping centers, retail, build-to-suit and ground leases) for some of the most prestigious shopping centers in the country, large grocery anchored centers, mixed-use projects and major single-tenant projects, she has a deep understanding of the acquisition, disposition, development, land use and leasing issues. Melanie has also drafted and negotiated a multitude of reciprocal easement agreements, operating agreements n\and development agreements, and provides clients entering into these transactions with a firm understanding of the standards and customs associated with obtaining maximum benefits and protections.

Melanie has served as Legal Counsel of the Fort Lauderdale/Boca Raton CREW Network from 2016-2017.

Melanie is a 1987 graduated of Rutgers University, where she majored in Communications. She earned her Juris Doctor from Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in New York in 1992.
